Java Architect / Technical Architect

As a Technical Architect Web Development at Trivandrum, your role will involve producing high level technical designs for functionality within functional specifications, ensuring technical feasibility, performance, scalability, and cost effectiveness. You will be responsible for assessing solutions using standard and non-standard products, making buy or build decisions, and considering non-functional requirements like security and performance. It will be your duty to identify and resolve technical design issues, work closely with development leads to monitor project delivery, and maintain ownership of project development throughout its lifecycle. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders and overseas Architects to enhance development processes and standards continuously. Key Responsibilities: - Produce high level technical designs based on functional specifications - Ensure proposed designs meet requirements and consider non-functional requirements - Assess and decide on solutions using standard and non-standard products - Resolve key technical design decisions and problems - Collaborate with development leads to monitor project delivery - Retain ownership of project development throughout lifecycle - Work with stakeholders and overseas Architects to refine development processes Qualification and Experience Requirements: - Minimum 8 years of experience in Web Development with 2-3 years as a Technical Architect/Technical Lead - Hands-on experience in software development in Web Technology - Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming practices, preferably in Java, JEE, Design patterns, and SQL Server - Experience in Production environments and Infrastructure Desired Skills: - Experience with Integrations Services or any other ETL tool would be advantageous - Exposure to Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Chrome Book, and Mac would be beneficial Competency Requirement: - Influencing Skills to interact with stakeholders and influence them on product solutions - Strong Communication Skills to effectively share ideas verbally and in writing - Ownership mindset for proposing and implementing solutions - Ability to work well as a team player Company Details: - Industry: IT/Computers-Software - Role: Technical Architect - Key Skills: Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring MVC, JavaScript, UML, Web Services (SOAP, REST, WS-*), RAD, WSAD, OOAD, Design Pattern, SQL Server, Performance Tuning - Education: B.Sc/B.Com/M.Sc/MCA/B.E/B.Tech - Email ID: jobs@augustainfotech.com Please note that the company details section has been omitted as it was not explicitly mentioned in the job description.,
