Java API Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using Java in a cloud environment
• Work with containerization tools like Docker for application packaging and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions
• Ensure code quality and performance through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing
• Integrate APIs with front-end systems and other backend services
• Monitor and maintain cloud-based services, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Follow Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in

  Java

  and

  API development

• Experience in

  cloud platforms

  , preferably

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  ; experience with

  AWS

  or

  Azure

  is also acceptable
• Proficiency in

  Docker

  and other containerization technologies
• Good understanding of

  microservices architecture

  and deployment in cloud environments
• Knowledge of

  REST

  and

  SOAP

  web services
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks
