Java and Python Tech Lead VP - Pune

The role requires demonstrated hand-on technical and leadership experience supporting large organizations, preferably in the financial industry. As a successful candidate, you will drive process transformations, technology adoptions, and application implementation. You should have expertise in areas such as hands-on experience building enterprise-class technical solutions, Micro-Service development & management, Internal, Hybrid, or External cloud architectures, and proficiency in Python and LLM tools. As a Java Team lead for a suite of applications within Citi Risk & Control, your key responsibilities will include owning the responsibility of a module, leading a team to deliver complex system designs, understanding requirements, coding and unit testing components, supporting acceptance tests and production tests, reporting progress, and collaborating with the global team. You should stay updated on the latest technological advancements in your work area and contribute relevant ideas to the table. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in building applications for large, global organizations, hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Python, and LLM tools, and familiarity with the latest technologies in Distributed Computing and Big Data ecosystem. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in implementing applications using J2EE, microservices, strong OOP fundamentals, programming languages, and web frameworks. You must be able to define and establish frameworks and best practices for enterprise-class solutions, have knowledge of cloud computing and deployment strategies, prioritize and manage schedules effectively, produce professional presentations and architecture designs, possess strong writing and communication skills, and experience in creating technical documentation. Furthermore, you should be proficient in Oracle RDBMS, data modeling, understanding relational database systems, converting requirements into technical designs and code, using source code control systems, unit test frameworks, build and deployment tools, and have a fundamental understanding of data management systems and business analytics.
