Job Description

As an IVI Middleware Engineer specialized in Wireless Connectivity, you will play a crucial role in developing and integrating robust middleware components for automotive In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems. Your focus will be on implementing and optimizing WiFi and Bluetooth functionalities to ensure seamless connectivity for various in-vehicle services and devices. You will be responsible for developing and integrating WiFi and Bluetooth middleware stacks and profiles such as A2DP, HFP, SPP, and LE. Additionally, you will work on implementing APIs and interfaces to facilitate application layer interaction with wireless modules. Troubleshooting and debugging connectivity issues, performance, and stability will be part of your daily tasks. Your expertise will be vital in optimizing wireless performance and coexistence within the IVI systems. Collaboration with hardware, application, and system teams will be essential in this role to ensure the seamless integration of wireless connectivity solutions. The ideal candidate should possess 3-7 years of experience in embedded software development for IVI systems, with a strong background in WiFi and Bluetooth middleware development. Proficiency in C/C++ programming, familiarity with wireless networking standards and protocols, and experience with Linux or other embedded RTOS platforms are key requirements. Knowledge of automotive protocols such as CAN and Ethernet would be advantageous, and experience with version control tools like Git and defect tracking systems like JIRA is preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for effective teamwork within the organization.,
