IT System Administrator

As an IT System Administrator and Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) professional based in Bannerghatta Road, 1st Stage BTM Layout, Bangalore, your primary responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining both physical and virtual servers. - Conducting regular system monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, and key processes. - Performing backups, system updates, patch management, and disaster recovery drills. Within the Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) domain, you will be expected to: - Monitor and manage network infrastructure such as switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. - Guarantee uptime, performance, and capacity planning for IT systems and services. - Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation plans. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and implement projects. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting. - Work alongside the network team to monitor LAN/WAN performance, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks. - Ensure endpoint protection, antivirus, encryption, and patching across all systems. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during day shifts from Monday to Friday with a morning shift. The role requires in-person presence at the work location.
