Description
As an IT Specialist - LDAP at our company located in Gurugram, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting LDAP infrastructure spread across 3 geographies. Your role will involve working with LDAP databases running on MySQL and Berkely DB, as well as OpenSSL or any other crypto suite. Your key responsibilities will include: - Securing operation, maintenance, monitoring, and management of LDAP infrastructure, including connected LDAP-related components in various environments. - Collaborating closely with Corporate IT, corporate Security, and Location IT/Location Security departments to maintain LDAP deployment coverage globally. - Performing patching, upgrades, transitions, and migrations of directory server infrastructure and databases. - Designing, building, and maintaining OpenSSL or any other crypto suite. - Providing support for troubleshooting and ensuring documentation and designs are always up to date. - Following a process-driven approach with a good understanding of ITIL concepts. To excel in this role, you should have: - A university degree or equivalent qualification. - Certification in at least one Unix/Linux Certification and ITIL training or certification. In terms of technical expertise, you must have: - In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux Operating System, preferably RHEL. - Expertise in architecting, building, operating, and maintaining Linux/Unix-based directory servers and LDAP concepts. - Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Perl/Ruby) and automation using Ansible. - Hands-on experience with OpenSSL or any other crypto suite. - Strong understanding of Ethernet, Subnets, and Networking. - Familiarity with MySQL or Berkely databases. - Experience in API development or integration is a plus. It would be beneficial to have knowledge in: - Cloud technologies like M365 & Azure and hybrid infrastructure. - Endpoint and Network Protection technologies such as Anti-Virus, Firewall, IDS, Proxy, WAF, and Mail. - Service Now, common patching systems, documentation tools like Confluence, and repositories like GitHub. Soft skills required for this role include: - Proven analytical skills with information systems. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
