Job Overview:

Business Development Manager (IT Sales)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and digital outreach.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients across industries.
  • Pitch and sell IT services and solutions (such as software development, cloud services, IT consulting, etc.).
  • Understand client needs and propose customized solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and technical teams to ensure smooth onboarding of clients.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain CRM and prepare regular reports on sales pipeline, conversion, and revenue forecasts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2-8 years of experience in B2B IT sales or enterprise software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and sales cycles.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently (IC role).
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.
