Description
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, including hardware devices such as printers, routers, switches, Sophos firewalls, and load balancers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. - Implementing and managing network protocols such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, and DNS. - Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues to ensure uptime, reliability, and security. - Providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues. - Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure successful changes to the network infrastructure. - Selecting and implementing security tools, policies, and procedures in coordination with the company's security team. - Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. - Performing maintenance of CCTV cameras periodically. Qualifications and Skills required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role designing and managing enterprise-level networks. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS). - Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools. - CCNA certification is preferred.
