Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an IP DRG - QA at Exela Technologies, located in Thanjavur. The IP DRG - QA will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of inpatient diagnosis-related group (DRG) coding. Daily tasks include reviewing medical records, validating coding assignments, identifying potential coding errors, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with coding staff and other healthcare professionals to enhance coding quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with DRG coding and validation
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10-CM, and ICD-10-PCS coding systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and on-site in Thanjavur
• Relevant certifications such as CCS, CCDS, or CPC are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field
