IoT Edge & C .NET Developer

As an experienced IoT Edge Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining IoT edge applications for real-time data acquisition and processing. Your primary focus will be on developing C# .NET-based applications for device connectivity, monitoring, and control, while also integrating IoT solutions with cloud platforms like Azure IoT, AWS IoT, or Google Cloud IoT. You will work with a range of IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, and OPC UA to ensure seamless communication between devices and the cloud. In this role, you will be required to develop secure and optimized firmware for edge devices using embedded technologies, as well as implement edge computing solutions to process and analyze data locally before transmitting it to the cloud. Collaboration with hardware and firmware teams will be essential to ensure smooth device-to-cloud communication, and you will also be tasked with optimizing data processing pipelines for efficient storage and transmission. Unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications will be part of your daily tasks, and staying updated with the latest IoT trends, frameworks, and security best practices will be crucial. Your expertise in C# .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and Microservices will be key in this role, along with your experience in IoT Edge frameworks and real-time data streaming. The ideal candidate for this position should have 5-9 years of experience in IoT, Edge Computing, and C# .NET development. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and familiarity with containerization for deploying edge applications will be advantageous. Experience with Industrial IoT (IIoT), edge AI/ML, and modular software architecture will be considered a plus.
