iOS Engineer

As an iOS Engineer at Barclays, you will play a vital role in advancing our digital solutions development and ensuring operational excellence. You will utilize cutting-edge technology to construct and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure, thereby facilitating the seamless delivery of our digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Possess in-depth knowledge of the iOS SDK, Swift, and development experience in SwiftUI and UIKit. - Demonstrate proficiency in best practice software development, design patterns, automated testing including unit tests and XCUI tests. - Work with REST APIs and have experience with Agile/Scrum methodology. - Implement secure application development practices and have familiarity with development frameworks like React Native. Qualifications Required: - Familiarity with Cocoapods, Swift Package Manager, and CI tools. - Knowledge of Objective-C and cross-platform mobile development frameworks like React Native and Flutter. In this role, you will be based out of Pune and will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. Additional Details: You may undergo assessment based on key critical skills such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology, in addition to job-specific technical skills. You will be accountable for: - Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. - Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements and ensure seamless integration with business objectives. - Promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing through code reviews and peer collaboration. - Staying informed of industry technology trends and contributing to the organization's technology communities for technical excellence and growth. - Adhering to secure coding practices and implementing effective unit testing practices.
