Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Intern in Accounting & Bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen interest in learning about the financial aspects of business operations.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Support the bookkeeping team in reconciling accounts, processing payments, and performing other financial tasks.
Conduct research on financial topics and provide insights to support business decisions.
Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement financial models and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to accounting and bookkeeping.

Job Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including financial statement analysis and budgeting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with accounting software and systems is an asset.
