Job Description

Core Duties:

We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer with expertise in Python and Apache Airflow (preferably on Amazon MWAA) to design, build, and maintain secure and scalable data pipelines. The role involves working with diverse integration technologies including SQL, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, FTP/SFTP, and SSL certificates. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing workflows across cloud (AWS) and on-premises environments. The position requires collaborating with clients, business users, and technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver integration solutions. Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, SNS, and SQS is essential. Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Terraform, and cloud native orchestration tools is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration workflows using Python and Apache Airflow (preferably on Amazon MWAA).
  • Build and support scalable, reliable, and secure data pipelines across cloud (AWS) and on-premises environments.
  • Work with JDBC/SQL/RDBMS, XML, JSON, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, FTP/SFTP, and XML Schemas.
  • Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot existing integrations to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Analyze integration requirements, perform gap analysis, and create detailed technical design documents.
  • Maintain a comprehensive source/destination field mapping library.
  • Ensure secure integration processes using SSL-based APIs and certificates.
  • Collaborate with clients, technical teams, and business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Maintain architectural and technical documentation for all integration solutions. • Experience with Business Systems like Netsuite, Concur, Hubspot, Monday.com, Okta, etc or equivalent.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python based integration development.
  • Working knowledge of Apache Airflow, preferably via Amazon MWAA (Managed Workflows for

Apache Airflow).

  • Solid understanding of AWS services commonly used in data and integration pipelines (e.g., S3,

Lambda, SNS, SQS).

  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and middleware technologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL, XML, JSON, and web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience with FTP/SFTP, SSL certificates, and secure data transmission.
  • Familiarity with Okta SSO and API-based authentication mechanisms.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop Python based API and expose it via AWS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Python based Integration Development.
  • Experience with Amazon MWAA, or other AWS orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with API and Integration Pipeline Development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Good to have but not mandatory - Terraform Knowledge.
