Safety inspections: Conducting safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. 7. Documentation: Preparing and maintaining documentation, including system designs, installation records, and maintenance reports. Specialized skills for solar energy electricians: 1. Knowledge of solar panel technology: Understanding of solar panel technology, including photovoltaic (PV) systems and solar inverters. 2. Experience with solar design software: Familiarity with software tools, such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or SolarAnywhere. 3. Understanding of electrical codes and regulations: Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including the National Electric Code (NEC) and local building codes.
