Infrastructure Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced support and maintenance for

  Linux/Unix systems

  (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AIX).
• Administer and troubleshoot

  middleware platforms

  including

  IBM MQ

  and

  IBM WebSphere Enterprise Edition

  .
• Design and manage

  Kafka

  and

  MSG Router

  -based messaging solutions.
• Develop, support, and troubleshoot

  SOAP

  and

  REST APIs

  .
• Oversee

  Azure cloud infrastructure

  , including resource provisioning, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Build and manage

  Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

  for automated deployments and infrastructure as code.
• Develop and maintain

  Perl scripts

  to automate routine operational tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, availability, and security.
  
• Participate in

  incident management

  , performing root cause analysis and implementing fixes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of infrastructure configurations and operational procedures.
  
• Stay current on emerging technologies and contribute ideas for continuous infrastructure improvement.
  
• Support 24/7 infrastructure by working in

  rotational shifts or US hours

  when required.

Must-Have Skills

• 812 years of Linux/Unix (RHEL, AIX) system administration experience.
  
• Hands-on experience with

  IBM MQ

  and

  IBM WebSphere EE

• Strong expertise in

  Kafka

  and

  MSG Router

  .
• Proficient in

  SOAP and REST API

  development and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in

  Azure administration

  and

  resource management

• Skilled in

  and automation practices.
• Advanced

  Perl scripting

  for operational automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills in complex enterprise environments.
  
• Demonstrated experience supporting

• Certifications
