Summary: As an Infrastructure Architect, you will lead the definition, design, and documentation of technical environments. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to deploy solution architectures, conducting analyses of alternative architectures, and creating architectural standards. You will also define processes to ensure conformance with these standards, institute solution-testing criteria, and promote a clear and consistent business vision through technical architectures. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the technical landscape and ensuring that solutions align with business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: • Expertise in cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and architectures across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and OCI. • Strong knowledge of Linux (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments. • Proficiency in Active Directory, Azure AD, and integration with cloud identity providers. • Familiarity with cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, VPNs, firewalls). • Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, encryption, RBAC, and compliance frameworks. • Skilled in provisioning and managing cloud resources using tools like ARM, CloudFormation, and Terraform. • Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep). • Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, and OCI Logging. • Knowledge of cloud migration strategies including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and hybrid integration. • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and documentation. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Architecture and Proficiency in Infrastructure Design. - Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices. - Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager. - Familiarity with networking concepts and security protocols in cloud environments. - Ability to design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architectures. - Experience with network architecture and security protocols. - Familiarity with virtualization technologies and containerization. - Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs. • Define and maintain the enterprise cloud infrastructure strategy and roadmap. • Align cloud architecture with organizational priorities, working closely with product owners, enterprise architects, and compliance teams. • Evaluate and recommend emerging cloud technologies and services to enhance infrastructure capabilities. • Stay informed of industry trends, cloud provider roadmaps, and evolving best practices. • Architect and deploy solutions using Azure services such as Azure Virtual Network, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, and Azure Functions. • Design and manage AWS infrastructure using services like VPC, EC2, Lambda, RDS, and EKS. • Implement Azure and AWS security controls including IAM, Key Vault, Security Groups, and Network ACLs. • Use Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning. • Leverage Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, AWS CloudWatch, and CloudTrail for observability and auditing. Architect and Oversee Infrastructure Lifecycle: • Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions from intake and discovery through deployment and support. • Guide the selection and integration of cloud services, platforms, and tools. • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop business cases and present architectural recommendations to governance bodies. • Support implementation teams by reviewing requirements, providing technical guidance, and validating designs. Ensure Stakeholder Collaboration: • Engage with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions. • Foster strong relationships across teams to ensure alignment and adoption of architectural standards. • Support change management and training efforts for new cloud capabilities. Optimize System and Cloud Performance: • Monitor and evaluate the performance and stability of cloud infrastructure. • Analyze usage data, feedback, and trends to identify opportunities for optimization. • Rationalize cloud services to eliminate redundancy and reduce complexity and cost. Optimize IT Operations: • Define and improve delivery processes and operational procedures in collaboration with IT leadership. • Promote automation, self-service, and infrastructure-as-code practices to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Architecture. - This position is based in Hyderabad. - A 15 years full time education is required.
