Infra - VOIP Support Engineer

As an experienced IT Support Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience, you will be joining the dynamic team at Phykon in Trivandrum (Technopark). Your primary responsibility will be to manage client communications effectively, install and configure software systems, and collaborate closely with QA and Dev teams to identify and resolve issues. You must have a strong background in deploying and maintaining applications, conducting root cause analysis, and offering technical assistance to internal and external customers. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining client communications, installing and configuring software systems, collaborating with QA and Dev teams to communicate issues clearly, building and configuring tools to enhance customer experience, conducting root cause analysis, deploying applications such as Web servers, Database servers, and VoIP applications, providing technical support for various systems, managing High Availability and Database replication, and resolving issues efficiently within defined SLAs to ensure customer satisfaction. In terms of technical expertise, you should possess excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, in-depth understanding of VoIP and SIP technologies, extensive experience in product installation and configuration, proficiency in open-source VoIP solutions like Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, OpenSIPS, and Kamailio, skills in using diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, TCPdump, SIPp, Fail2Ban, and IPTables, excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities, solid understanding of MySQL and MongoDB databases including Database Replication and Heartbeat configuration, proven ability in providing excellent client support, and exposure to AWS Cloud services.
