Infra Tech Support Practitioner

Project Role : Infra Tech Support Practitioner Project Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting. Must have skills : TSM Backup Administration Good to have skills : Avamar Backup Administration, No Function Specialty Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Summary :As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, you will provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. You will be responsible for configuring services running on various platforms and implementing technology at the operating system-level. Your role will involve L1 and L2 troubleshooting and providing hardware/software support. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. Assist in the configuration and maintenance of production and development systems. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement technology solutions. Provide support for services running on different platforms. Assist in the implementation of technology at the operating system-level. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in TSM Backup Administration. Good To Have Skills:Experience with Avamar Backup Administration. Strong understanding of backup administration principles and best practices. Knowledge of backup and recovery processes. Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Familiarity with different operating systems and software solutions. Ability to configure and maintain production and development systems. Knowledge of network and server areas. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in TSM Backup Administration. This position is based at our Gurugram office.
