Job Summary:

Informatica Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  ETL workflows

  using

  Informatica PowerCenter

  (or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services).
• Develop and optimize complex

  SQL queries

  for data extraction, transformation, and loading into

  Teradata

  or other target systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data modelers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform

  data profiling

  ,

  data validation

  , and

  performance tuning

  for ETL processes and SQL scripts.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, ensuring high availability and timely data delivery.
• Implement data quality and governance processes within the ETL framework.
• Participate in

  code reviews

  unit testing

  system integration testing

• Work with cross-functional teams to support data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives.
• Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and data flows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree

  in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 6–8 years

  of experience in

  Informatica PowerCenter

  .
• Strong experience with

  Teradata

  , including query optimization, indexing, and utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in

  SQL

  (preferably Teradata SQL, Oracle SQL, or similar).
• Experience working in

  data warehouse

  or

  data lake

  environments.
• Knowledge of

  ETL best practices

  , error handling, and performance tuning techniques.
• Familiarity with

  Unix/Linux shell scripting

  for job scheduling and automation.
• Understanding of

  data modeling concepts
