As an Analyst in the GSM Analytics team at our company, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Collect requirements and design advanced analytics ranging from descriptive to predictive models, machine learning techniques, and AI and RPA. - Monitor incoming data analytics requests, execute analytics as requested, and distribute results efficiently. - Plan and moderate periodic data analytics champions meetings and communicate necessary information with the team. - Develop, implement, support, and maintain data analytics protocols, standards, and documentation. - Analyze complex data, identify anomalies, trends, risks, and provide usable insights to improve internal controls. - Prepare documentation, analytic dashboards, and reports that summarize results, analysis, and conclusions for stakeholders. - Address ad-hoc analytics requests and facilitate data acquisition for internal projects and investigations. - Contribute to process improvement, efficiencies, and innovation within the department. - Communicate data requirements and ensure global team access to necessary information. - Assist global teams in understanding data relationships to business processes. - Participate in department technology leadership work streams, supporting knowledge management processes and tool usage. - Prepare written summaries to accompany results and maintain documentation. - Clearly explain data and results to support project objectives. Desired Skills: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field. - Internship or project experience in data analysis, data science, or data engineering. - Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure. - Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages. - Exposure to database concepts for data acquisition and maintenance. - Proficiency in developing user-friendly dashboards on data visualization tools like Power Bi, Tableau. - Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their real-world applications. - Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and transformations using tools like Databricks, Trifacta, etc. - Knowledge of advanced analytics, statistical techniques, and concepts. Business Acumen: - Ability to learn and apply business concepts quickly. - Develop analytics solutions using technical and business domain knowledge. Communication & Presentation: - Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment. - Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
