Those in data and automation at PwC will focus on automating data internally using automation tools or software to streamline datarelated processes within the organisation. Your work will involve automating data collection, data analysis, data visualisation, or any other tasks that involve handling and processing data.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include Understand and analyze requirements / specifications / acceptance criteria to design effective test scenarios Design comprehensive test cases based on the test scenarios identified Execute functional test cases to validate the functionalities; identify, document, and report defects in appropriate tracking tools Perform regression/load/performance testing to ensure changes to the applications do not adversely affect existing functionalities Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, defect reports and relevant testing metrics Collaborate with test leads, development teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues Build and maintain test automation frameworks/test scripts to facilitate automated testing Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing Addition responsibilities for Senior associate Lead the testing efforts and ensure cordination with App team dev leads Collaborate with stakeholders and QA lead to provide feedback on performance testing results Provide detailed test reports and summaries to stakeholders, highlighting test coverage, test results, and quality metrics

Proven experience in performance testing web applications, APIs, and backend systems. Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or k6. Strong understanding of Selenium WebDriver for browser automation Knowledge of Selenium Grid for distributed test execution Experience with monitoring tools such as PerfMon, nmon, Datadog, or New Relic. Ability to analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks. Proficient in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Groovy. Experience with cloudbased performance testing Experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit (for Java), NUnit (for C#), or PyTest/UnitTest (for Python). Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively work with webbased applications. Familiarity with version control systems like Git for code management. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI to integrate automated tests into the development pipeline. Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA etc. for defect tracking. Understanding of RESTful services and experience with tools like Postman or RestAssured for API testing. Basic SQL knowledge to perform database validations and queries for data verification Experience in crossbrowser testing and understanding of browser compatibility issues Exposure to Agile methodology

Certifications/Credentials ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL) ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst (CTALTA) ISTQB Test Automation Engineering (CTALTAE)
