Job Description

You will be responsible for managing a team of 10-15 employees in compliance with defined benefit plans provisions. Your role will involve operational tasks associated with pension administration clients, including leading plan specifications, automation/process improvement projects, and test plans. Additionally, you will be required to define the promotion of pension calculators to the production environment, lead project planning and acceptance testing for systems/applications, and coordinate with the Senior Benefits Manager for any team issues or challenges. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading plan specifications for pension administration clients - Leading automation/process improvement projects - Approving plan specifications or technology changes for pension calculations and distribution forms - Defining the promotion of pension calculators to the production environment - Coordinating with the Senior Benefits Manager for team issues/challenges - Tracking and managing the team's SLA - Formulating strategies to meet team goals - Achieving efficiencies through cross-utilization and trainings - Driving practice-level initiatives within your practice - Analyzing quality audit reports and suggesting process improvements - Demonstrating strong networking capabilities and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders - Leading end-to-end projects and ensuring the desired objectives are met - Handling escalations, providing support, and working with the team to empower them to do it right the first time - Managing associate engagement - Ensuring all work product is processed according to Milliman's peer review guidelines You should possess the following skills and attributes: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to train, develop, mentor, and motivate teams in a challenging and rapidly changing environment - Ability to provide and receive feedback effectively - Proficiency in Front End - VB.Net, Back End - SQL Server, and MS Office - Excel and Access Qualifications required for this role: - 10+ years of experience in Defined Benefits administration - Minimum 5-7 years of people management experience - Bachelor's/master's degree in any discipline Preferred skills and qualifications include: - High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive client data - Certifications in US Benefits would be an added advantage - Ability to plan, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines - Team player actively contributing to the group to complete tasks or meet goals - Effective change management skills in today's dynamic environment,
