Role & responsibilities

Should be strong
in UNIX/ LINUX
(any one)
Should be strong in
SQL and PL/SQL
(any one)
Knowledge in
Java
Experience in
Production support
Strong in problem solving with troubleshooting and debugging
Database: Stored Procedure and Query Optimization knowledge
Effective verbal & written communication skills
Should be good in ITIL process like Knowledge Management, Incident Management and Ticket Management
Strong understanding of Linux operating systems
Hands on experience using
Unix commands, writing shell scripts
, building small tools (non-negotiable this will be assessed in the interview)
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, out of the box thinker, ability to connect dots when presented with disjoint data set (non-negotiable – this will be assessed in the interview)
Understanding of existing
Java infrastructure
, ability to identify bottlenecks and suggest changes etc
