Job Description

Role Overview: As a Zendesk Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer, your role involves designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and maintaining systems and solutions that control access to the organization's resources, sensitive information, and data. Your primary goal is to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to these resources while preventing unauthorized users from gaining entry. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor Identity management tools and Public Cloud tooling such as MFA, Security Token, OAUTH, AWS, Okta, Atlassian, and BigFix. Maintain appropriate configurations and access policies. - Administer IAM related SaaS applications and review business, functional, and technical requirements for establishing an Okta Identity platform. - Define and enforce business process strategy, entitlement, and access management. Manage app integration requests including SSO and User Lifecycle Management. - Proactively identify and resolve IAM lifecycle management related issues. Translate requests from Business partners into Jira Stories and Epics. Qualifications Required: - 1-3 years of experience in an IT Operations role or educational equivalent, ideally in CS/IS or holds a Bachelor's degree. - Strong understanding of day-to-day management of Okta for group and user management, app provisioning tasks, and app intake and deprecation. - Working knowledge of Okta product areas including Identity Engine, Universal Directory, and Adaptive MFA. - Direct experience administering IAM related SaaS applications and integrating applications with Okta SSO. Familiarity with Cloud Authentication and Access management Services. - Solid understanding of identity management and security policy concepts, protocols, and best practices. - Ability to present SSO concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding. - Availability during normal business hours with flexibility based on business requirements, must be able to travel 10% of the time.
