Job Description

Key responsibilities

Lesson Planning:
Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that align with the specific IB Mathematics syllabus Class 11 th & 12 th (e.g., MYP, DP).
Instruction:
Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear, understandable, and engaging manner, tailoring methods to diverse learning styles.
Assessment and Monitoring:
Assess students' strengths and weaknesses, monitor their progress through regular assessments, and provide constructive feedback.
Exam Preparation:
Assist students with homework, revision, and preparation for internal and external IB assessments.
Support:
Provide one-on-one or small group support, fostering a growth mindset, confidence, and strong problem-solving skills.
Collaboration:
Maintain communication with students and parents on academic performance and work collaboratively with educators to ensure alignment with academic goals.
Curriculum Knowledge:
Stay current with changes to the IB Mathematics curriculum, including new teaching methods and resources.
