You should have good hands-on experience of test methodology and test processes, including requirements collection and test plan development, testing automation, and verification techniques. Additionally, you should possess strong experience in programming using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby. Communication skills are key, as you will be expected to communicate effectively at multiple levels and across various disciplines. Being a team player is essential, as you will be providing input into a multifunctional team. Furthermore, you should be self-motivated, adaptable, and independent, capable of working with limited supervision, proactively reporting on status and tasks.
