Job Description

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations:

Handle day-to-day HR operational tasks including employee records, documentation, and compliance.
Maintain and update HR databases and employee files (physical and digital).
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Payroll

Collect, verify, and process employee attendance and timesheets.
Assist in monthly payroll processing in coordination with the finance team or external vendors.
Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.).
Address payroll-related queries from employees.

Generalist Activities

Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates.
Assist in employee engagement initiatives and activities.
Address employee queries related to HR policies and processes.
Prepare HR-related reports and MIS as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in HR operations/payroll/generalist functions.
Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Familiarity with HRMS or payroll software (e.g., Zoho People, GreytHR, SAP SuccessFactors).
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and confidentiality.

Nice To Have

Experience handling payroll independently or with third-party vendors.
Knowledge of compliance filing (e.g., PF/ESI returns).
Exposure to employee grievance handling or internal communications.
