Highway Design Engineer

The Highway Design Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and reviewing highway and road alignment projects. The role requires expertise in geometric design, pavement design, drainage, and preparation of design deliverables as per national and international standards. The engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare and review geometric design of highways, interchanges, service roads, and associated infrastructure.
• Carry out horizontal and vertical alignment design in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare drawings, design reports, BOQs, and specifications.
• Coordinate with survey, geotechnical, structural, and drainage teams for design integration.
• Review drawings and designs prepared by consultants/vendors.
• Provide technical support during construction, including resolving site-related design issues.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all design deliverables.

Qualification & Experience:

B.Tech. in Civil / M Tech in Highway OR Transportation Engineering with 8 - 10 years of experience in highway design and related infrastructure projects
