Job Purpose:

To ensure successful execution of EPC projects by developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring cost and schedule performance, managing risks, and enabling data-driven project decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, update, and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6/ MS Project.
• Define WBS, activity sequencing, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
• Conduct schedule reviews and ensure alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning functions
• Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) and float analysis

2. Cost Control & Budgeting

• Develop project budgets and monitor actual costs against planned values.
• Track project expenditures, analyze cost variances, and prepare cost-to complete (CTC) forecasts.
• Implement Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for schedule and cost performance monitoring (SPI, CPI).

3. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track physical and financial progress vs. baseline
• Generate project dashboards, S-curves, and performance metrics
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain and report schedule and cost performance indicators

4. Resource and Manpower Planning

• Load and monitor manpower and resource histograms in schedule
• Coordinate with departments for accurate resource projections
• Analyze productivity trends and recommend improvements

5. Change and Risk Management

• Monitor and document project changes, variations, and their impact
• Update baseline schedules and budgets post-approval of changes
• Maintain the risk register and support mitigation planning
• Perform delay impact analyses using Time Impact Analysis (TIA) techniques

6. Stakeholder Coordination

• Interface with internal stakeholders and subcontractors for schedule and cost inputs
• Support project managers in progress reviews and client presentations
• Facilitate planning/control meetings and drive action closures

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)
• 8–15 years of experience in EPC project planning and control
• Strong command of system tools like Primavera P6 / Wrench, MS Project, Excel, Power BI
• Experience in large-scale industrial/infrastructure/renewable energy projects preferred
• Certification in PMP / CCP / PSP is a plus

• Accuracy of forecasting (schedule and cost)
• Stakeholder satisfaction and proactive risk mitigation
