Head of Data Science

Role Overview: As the Head of Data Science at Matrimony.com Ltd, your role is to lead the AI/ML strategy and drive innovation across personalized matchmaking, fraud prevention, and customer engagement. You will play a pivotal role in redefining how people find love by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and creating a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the AI/ML roadmap for personalized matchmaking, fraud detection, and real-time decision-making models to enhance user experiences. - Lead analytics initiatives to drive revenue growth, optimize conversion rates, and improve engagement by transforming data into actionable insights. - Build, inspire, and lead a world-class data science team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration to ensure timely execution of high-impact projects. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership to align AI/ML innovations with business objectives for enhanced product development and user satisfaction. - Implement best practices in data science to drive operational efficiency and scale AI solutions that directly impact business KPIs. - Establish and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and tech companies to stay at the forefront of AI/ML innovations. Qualifications Required: - At least 15 years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, and machine learning, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. - Proven track record in consumer tech, e-commerce, fintech, or similar industries where customer data is utilized for product development, personalization, and revenue growth. - A master's degree from a Tier I institute or a Ph.D. in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, machine learning, or a related quantitative field is preferred. - Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and large-scale data processing, with strong experience in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, SQL, and cloud technologies. - Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to align AI initiatives with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes.,
