Job Description

You will be part of the team responsible for the security architecture of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, working at a system level across hardware, software, and infrastructure to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Collaboration with product management, customers, partners, and engineering teams is essential to design the optimal security solutions for a variety of devices utilizing Snapdragon processors. These processors are engineered with advanced security technologies like Root of Trust, Integrated Secure Element, Virtualization, and Confidential Compute to meet the diverse security requirements of devices such as mobile phones, laptops, automotive systems, and data centers. Minimum Qualifications: - Over 10 years of industry experience in SoC Security with expertise in architecture and design - 5+ years of industry experience in Compute and/or Data Centre SoC Architecture - Profound knowledge of Security Technologies such as Root of Trust, TEE, and Access Control - Proficiency in Confidential Compute Architecture including RME, TDX, SEV-SNP, and TDISP - Strong grasp of Security Software Architecture with a focus on Secure Boot - Skilled in HW/SW threat analysis and creating architecture-level documentation Preferred Qualifications: - Proficient in isolation-related extensions like TrustZone, Virtualization, and RME - Extensive knowledge of Server Platform security architecture and lifecycle/debug management - Expertise in Applied Cryptography and Protocols - Familiarity with Security Certification Processes and Requirements - Excellent communication, teamwork, leadership, and management skills Key Responsibilities: - Define system security requirements for Server SoC focusing on functionality, performance, and security levels - Specify and review the architecture and implementation of System/SoC level security mechanisms - Conduct platform security threat analysis and competitive analysis of security systems - Explore future server security-related technologies and act as a technical interface to product management and standards teams Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of Security Engineering experience - Master's degree with 7+ years of experience or PhD with 6+ years of experience in Security Engineering Note: Equivalent experience will be considered, provided the candidate can fulfill the role's duties and possesses the required competencies.
