Job Description

Driving the development of production systems and manufacturing processes that enable the robot to achieve commercial viability through cost-effective, scalable manufacturing of actuators and manipulators, while maintaining consistent quality and performance at mass production volumes and meeting market demand timelines.

Core Responsibilities

Manufacturing process development and optimization for actuators, manipulators, and complete robot assembly at scale
Supplier qualification, vendor management, and supply chain optimization for cost-effective component sourcing
Implementing QA/QC systems, statistical process control, and manufacturing testing protocols for consistent production output
Production planning, capacity optimization, and manufacturing cost analysis to support business scaling objectives
Providing manufacturing feasibility feedback to design teams to ensure products are optimized for production

Hard Skills

Manufacturing experience in precision mechanical and electrical systems, with production scaling expertise
Statistical process control, quality management systems (ISO 9001, Six Sigma), and manufacturing testing protocols
Supply chain management, vendor qualification, and cost analysis for electrical and mechanical component sourcing
Understanding of precision manufacturing processes: CNC machining, assembly automation, DFMA, inspection systems, and production line design
