Guidewire Testing

As a Guidewire Test Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the Guidewire software suite, specifically tailored for property and casualty insurance
Your role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality insurance solutions Key Responsibilities:Test Planning:Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire applications Test Execution:Execute manual and automated tests to validate Guidewire configurations and integrations Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure system stability Perform end-to-end testing of insurance processes, including policy administration, claims processing, and billing Defect Identification and Management:Log and track defects using defect tracking tools Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues Conduct root cause analysis for defects and collaborate on preventive measures Automation Testing:Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Guidewire testing tools or industry-standard automation tools Implement and execute automated regression testing to enhance testing efficiency Collaboration:Work closely with business analysts to understand business processes and requirements Collaborate with developers to ensure that software changes align with testing objectives Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing testing insights and updates Documentation:Document test results, including defects, test coverage, and overall system quality Maintain test documentation and ensure it aligns with project timelines Performance Testing:Conduct performance testing to ensure system scalability and responsiveness Analyze and report on performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
