Guidewire Developer

You are a highly skilled Guidewire Developer with 7-10 years of experience, specializing in Rating and PolicyCenter Configuration. As a part of our Acceleration Center team, you will utilize your deep technical expertise in the Guidewire suite to configure and customize PolicyCenter according to business requirements. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing solutions within Guidewire PolicyCenter, with a particular emphasis on Rating engine and Product Model configurations. You will be tasked with configuring business rules, data models, workflows, and user interfaces to ensure they align with customer needs. Collaboration with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders will be essential to deliver high-quality solutions. Additionally, you will customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using the Gosu programming language and participate in the full software development lifecycle. Your role will also involve providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across environments. Your 7-10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on development in Guidewire PolicyCenter, along with your expertise in Guidewire Rating engine configuration and proficiency in Gosu programming language, will be crucial for success in this role. Furthermore, your strong knowledge of Integration, insurance domain (specifically P&C), experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills will be highly valued. Preferred qualifications include Guidewire Certification(s) in PolicyCenter or related modules, experience with Guidewire Digital Portal or Cloud platform, and familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and build tools (Maven, Jenkins). To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
