Golang Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and microservices using Golang, following clean code and SOLID principles.
• Build and maintain REST/gRPC APIs and event-driven workflows integrated with Kafka or other message queues.
• Design, implement, and optimize data models and operations on DynamoDB, including partition keys, GSIs, and performance tuning.
• Deploy and manage services on AWS (EC2/ECS/EKS/Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, etc.) using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization for high-traffic, low-latency systems.

Skills & Experience

• 5 years of professional experience as a backend engineer in Golang.
• Strong knowledge of Go routines, channels, interfaces, error handling, and testing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure (VPC, ECS/EKS or Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation/Terraform is a plus).
• Practical experience designing and using DynamoDB (NoSQL modeling, capacity planning, transactions, streams).
• Experience with Kafka or any message queue (RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, etc.) for asynchronous processing and event-driven architectures.
• Good understanding of REST/gRPC, JSON, security best practices, and API versioning.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies.

• Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Nice to Have:

• Experience with other AWS data services (RDS, S3, Kinesis, ElastiCache).
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts, resilience patterns, and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Working experience of OTT Platform.
