Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services and APIs, with a primary focus on Go (Golang).
Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code in Go, Python, and Shell Script.
Work within a Linux-based development and production environment, leveraging your deep understanding of the OS.
Utilize Docker to containerize applications for seamless deployment and scalability.
Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to translate product requirements into clear, scalable technical designs.
Apply your expert debugging skills to identify and resolve complex issues across the stack.
Leverage AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, improve code quality, create tests, and generate documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software development.

Programming Languages:

Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in Go (Golang) is essential.
Proficiency in Python, and Shell Scripting.

Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience with Docker containers and the container ecosystem.
Solid understanding of computer networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
Good knowledge of the Linux operating system.
Proven ability to bring up and manage cloud instances in at least one major cloud platform is preferred: AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Core Competencies:

Demonstrated ability to create clear and effective software designs from high-level requirements.
Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot for coding, testing, and documentation.
