Global Trade Classification Analyst

Role Overview: As a Trade Compliance Classification Analyst at NVIDIA, you will be joining the growing worldwide Global Trade Compliance team. Your responsibilities will revolve around developing and improving internal processes for classifying NVIDIA's products, assigning export control classification numbers (ECCNs) and tariff classifications, supporting global shipping transactions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance work efficiency related to classifications. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and improve internal processes for classifying NVIDIA's products (hardware and software). - Assign export control classification numbers (ECCNs) to various items such as software, technology, integrated circuits, electronic assemblies, and computer systems primarily falling under Categories 3, 4, and 5 (Parts 1 and 2). - Assign tariff classifications (HTS and schedule B) to items primarily described in Chapter 84, 85, and 90. - Provide support for global shipping transactions and dispositions. - Work closely with NVIDIA's cross-functional teams to enhance work efficiency concerning classifications. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science. - 5+ years of experience in export classification within the high-tech industry. - Expertise in product classification (HS-Code / ECCN). - Understanding of U.S. EAR and other export control regulation jurisdictions. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP.
