Job Description

As a GIS Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various GIS tasks allocated as per project requirements. This includes digitization, editing, and spatial data analysis. You will also be required to capture ground truth information based on plans and digital sources provided, and conduct various analyses on satellite data. Key Responsibilities: - Capture the Map and other related data into GIS software to enable accurate calculation of the area for all features - Utilize various image processing techniques such as image classification and GIS analysis to derive meaningful information and results according to project requirements - Create and maintain the necessary database for GIS data storage Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Masters in geomatics, remote sensing and GIS, agriculture, geography, earth science, or related field - Experience in the agriculture field is preferable - Proficiency in GIS and remote sensing software, GIS data collection, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and the ability to create well-written and detailed reports Please note that the company may provide additional details about its background, culture, or any other relevant information.,
