Job Description

Position: GM – Operations

Industry: Luxury Jewellery Brand

Experience: 25+ years

Compensation: ₹30 – 50 LPA

Six days working


Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Lead day-to-day store and corporate operations, ensuring seamless customer experience across all outlets.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s growth plans and luxury brand standards.
  • Drive process excellence, automation, and digital adoption for operational efficiency.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics (KPIs) to track efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

2. Customer Experience & Brand Excellence

  • Champion a customer-centric culture, ensuring superior service delivery consistent with a luxury retail experience.
  • Set and enforce operational standards aligned with premium brand positioning.
  • Monitor and continuously improve customer satisfaction and loyalty metrics.

3. Supply Chain & Inventory Management

  • Oversee supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory planning.
  • Implement demand forecasting, stock optimization, and shrinkage control measures.
  • Ensure timely availability of merchandise without compromising brand quality.

4. People & Manpower Management

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire large cross-functional teams across multiple stores.
  • Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Build strong succession planning and leadership pipelines for operational excellence.

5. Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure strict adherence to legal, statutory, and industry-specific compliances.
  • Uphold company policies, ethical business practices, and safety standards.
  • Implement audit systems and compliance checks across operations.

6. Financial & Business Performance

  • Drive profitability through operational efficiencies, cost management, and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with finance and senior leadership for budgeting, forecasting, and P&L ownership.
  • Introduce best practices for revenue enhancement and cost control.

7. Innovation & Transformation

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives in retail operations (CRM, ERP, automation tools).
  • Benchmark against global luxury retail standards and introduce innovative practices.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives in operations and supply chain.


Operational Excellence and Financial Audit and Control of day-to-day operations of all departments

  • Checking of all receipts and payments to ensure error free financial control
  • To ensure accurate audits are done, and corrections are made with high legal and statutory compliances.
  • Internal process control design, enhancement and management commensurate to growth plans of organization.

9. Future Casting, planning and execution through teams.

Strategies and execute progressive measures in close coordination with board of directors.
