Fullstack Engineer - Java

About this position

TATA Elxsi is seeking a skilled full stack developer who is comfortable building, implementing, and consuming RESTful APIs for enterprise solutions. Need to be proficient in Java 17, with strong expertise in microservice architecture, SQL/NoSQL databases, Angular and optional familiarity with AWS or cloud services.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL/MongoDB.
• Lead design and development of entire systems
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable enterprise applications and microservices using AWS Cloud services such as SQS and SNS.
• Implement Java Lambda expressions and Collection classes effectively.
• Write JUnit tests to ensure complete test coverage.
• Understand user requirements to create application design documents and ensure application objectives are met.
• Develop new/custom modules to integrate with existing platforms.
• Apply best practices in architecting, designing, and implementing microservices, databases, and AWS solutions.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

• Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• High proficiency and technical leadership with technologies on our stack including Java (Spring) and Angular 8 and higher
• Experience in database technologies such as PostgreSQL/MongoDB.
• Experience with event driven architecture or asynchronous messaging services
• Experience developing Single Page Applications with a modern UI framework
• Solid understanding of Git.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
• Ability to improve code quality by implementing best practices.
• Experience in integrating third-party modules and extending existing ones.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues independently.
• Experience with AWS services is a plus.
• Experience with Liquibase, Splunk, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
