As a Full Stack Developer specializing in NodeJS, you will be responsible for working on the Identity Profile API, which is a Node JS - Express JS REST API hosted in Microsoft Azure. The codebase is developed and maintained in TypeScript and then compiled into Node JS files during the build process. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Express JS, which is a Node JS web application framework, to develop and maintain the API - Integrate with Auth0 using the auth0 Node JS based Auth0 Management API library. This library provides built-in methods to connect to all Authentication and Management API endpoints exposed by Auth0. It also includes a retry logic to handle rate limiting and minimize 429 errors. - Use axios, a promise-based HTTP Client for Node.js, to make HTTP requests within the API - Generate OpenAPI (Swagger) specification using swagger-jsdoc by reading the JSDoc-annotated source code. Proper swagger definition is required for all REST APIs.
