About the Role

Working Panda is hiring a skilled MERN Stack Developer to join our in-house product development team. This is a core full-time role involving front-end & back-end development, ownership of feature builds, server deployment, and collaboration across internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Write modular, well-documented, and tested code
• Work closely with designers and product teams to implement new features
• Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance and security
• Participate in regular code reviews and sprint planning
• Handle database schema design and data migrations using MongoDB
• Assist with app deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)

Must-Have Skills

• 2+ years as a MERN Stack Developer in production environments
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js component architecture
• Solid back-end logic using Node.js & Express.js
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, Git version control
• Experience deploying apps to cloud (AWS, DigitalOcean, Heroku, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging approach

Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

• Knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL
• Familiarity with Docker and DevOps CI/CD workflows
• Experience in Agile development (Scrum, Kanban)
• Understanding of server security and performance optimization
