Job Description

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

8-10 years of relevant experience as a Backend Developer with proven leadership responsibilities.
Strong backend expertise in Python and modern REST API design principles.
Proven experience building highly available, scalable, and secure backend systems in a cloud-native environment (AWS preferred).
Deep experience with AWS Serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, VPC, etc).
Solid understanding of database modeling and optimization for both SQL and NoSQL technologies.
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP acceptable).
Strong familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools..
Strong version control experience with Git (GitHub / GitLab).
Knowledge on JSON, JSON-LD, FHIR(preferred).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities.
Knowledge in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or
Vue.js).
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Good to have skills:

Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.).

Knowledge of schema management tools and practices (Avro, JSON Schema, etc.).

Previous experience in data catalog or data governance projects.

Proven track record of leading successful development projects.

Knowledge of authentication & authorization standards (OAuth2, JWT).

Knowledge of the Healthcare Industry.

Strong analytical skills and statistical knowledge.

Experience with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
