Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Frontend Web Developer and Designer with a passion for building beautiful, high-performance, content-driven websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and a proven track record of developing websites using modern technologies. You will be responsible for both the design and the implementation of user interfaces, working closely with our content and marketing teams to create exceptional online experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites.
• Build and maintain fast, scalable websites using static site generators like Astro and the Next.js framework.
• Integrate websites with headless CMS platforms, such as WordPress or other CMS, for efficient content management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality code and compelling user interfaces.
• Manage and structure large volumes of content, ensuring an optimal user experience.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, accessibility, and SEO.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our web presence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in frontend web development and design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and development projects, especially high-content websites.
• Proven, hands-on experience with modern static site generators (specifically Astro and/or Next.js).
• Demonstrable experience using a CMS for content management (WordPress or any other).
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for creating intuitive user experiences.
• Experience with responsive, mobile-first design and development.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Sanity, Strapi).
• Knowledge of on-page SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
