Frontend Engineer Lead

As a Frontend Engineering Lead at our high-growth WealthTech platform within a reputed financial services company, you will play a crucial role in developing modern, performant, and accessible frontend applications for real customers across India. Your responsibilities will include: - Owning the frontend architecture using React, Next.js, and TypeScript - Building and maintaining scalable design systems using Tailwind CSS and Storybook - Integrating APIs using Kong Gateway and managing auth and session flows - Ensuring high standards for security, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), performance, and SEO - Collaborating with backend, mobile, QA, design, and product teams - Driving code reviews, delivery planning, and mentoring your team - Contributing to building shared libraries across the digital portfolio - Working with CI/CD pipelines such as Vercel and GitHub Actions To excel in this role, you should bring: - 6-10 years of frontend development experience, preferably in product/platform teams - Strong expertise with React, Next.js, React Query, and Tailwind CSS - Solid understanding of API integration, client-side security, and performance tuning - Exposure to micro-frontend architecture, webpack, and frontend modularization - Experience in regulated domains like BFSI or WealthTech is a plus - A passion for mentoring engineers, driving clean architecture, and UI excellence Please note that this is a mid-to-senior engineering leadership role and is not suitable for students, interns, or campus applicants.
