Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Front-End Engineer at KKR's Treasury team, you will work on complex projects to drive transformative change for the Treasury business within Operations System. Your role will be based in the Gurugram office in India, where you will be involved in building and supporting treasury systems. You will participate in all aspects of the application development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, application development, and devising test cases. The ideal candidate should have a familiarity or strong interest in financial investment and experience in developing front-end applications using a modern technology stack. You are expected to have excellent programming and data management skills, strong verbal/written communication skills, and be a cultural fit with an emphasis on teamwork, excellence, and results. - Be a strong individual contributor while also leading and mentoring team members - Collaborate with business users to perform requirements analysis, application design, and implementation of front-end / UI applications - Maintain a high focus on testing by building proper unit and regression tests - Leverage and contribute to the evolution of existing frameworks and toolsets - Align with and contribute to the culture and overall vision/mission of the team - 9+ years or equivalent of programming experience - Strong experience in developing front-end applications using React with Typescript and other modern UI Development methodologies and toolsets - Working knowledge of Linux, Cloud technologies like AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker / Kubernetes, Gitlab/Github, CI/CD workflows - Understanding of programming design concepts, data structures, and ability to analyze complex algorithms - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to detail - Strong cultural fit - teamwork, proactive/self-starter, and result-oriented KKR is a leading global investment firm that offers alternative asset management, capital markets, and insurance solutions.
