Frontend Developer Trainee

As a Front-end Developer at Grapes Worldwide, you will play a crucial role in delivering public-facing websites with a focus on smooth, engaging animations and interactions. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a proven track record of delivering public-facing websites, please share your portfolio/examples. - Implementing smooth, engaging animations and interactions using libraries like GSAP, Framer Motion, or WebGL (a plus). - Building reusable components and libraries for future use while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code to optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers. - Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards are maintained and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in front-end development. - Troubleshooting and debugging issues during development and in production environments and working closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. - Mentoring and assisting junior developers when necessary. Qualifications required for this role at Grapes Worldwide: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model with a thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles. - Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Redux or MobX and familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM. - Proficient in using version control systems like Git, solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, the ability to work independently and in a team environment, detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
