Role Overview

We’re looking for a Front End Engineer with a sharp eye for design and a passion for creating intuitive, high-quality user interfaces. You’ll work across our web and mobile apps, building responsive, pixel-perfect experiences that feel fast and engaging. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys collaborating closely with designers and backend engineers, and wants to help define the product experience from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional front-end development experience
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Expertise in building pixel-perfect UI components and layouts
• Experience with Tailwind CSS (preferred) or other modern styling systems
• State management experience with Redux (Toolkit preferred)
• Experience using TanStack Query (React Query) for server state management
• Familiarity with cross-platform development using React Native (preferred)
• Understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices
• Experience writing automated tests using Playwright, Jest, or similar tools
• Experience integrating with WebSocket-based real-time APIs
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for web and mobile apps

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain responsive, high-quality web and mobile UIs for a real-time social communication app
• Collaborate closely with designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready components
• Implement animations, transitions, and micro-interactions that elevate the user experience
• Integrate with backend APIs and WebSocket services for real-time features
• Use Redux and TanStack Query to manage application and server state effectively
• Ensure the app is performant, accessible, and optimized for different devices and network conditions
• Write automated UI tests to maintain quality and reliability across releases
• Participate in architecture and product discussions, influencing decisions that shape the future of our platform

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record of delivering production-ready React applications
• Experience building interfaces for social media or real-time communication products
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain visual consistency across platforms
• Solid understanding of front-end performance optimization
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, fast-moving team
• Comfortable taking ownership of features from concept to release

Nice To Have

• React Native experience for building cross-platform mobile apps
• Experience working with design systems or creating component libraries
• Familiarity with push notifications and deep linking in mobile apps
• Startup or early-stage product experience
• Experience with deployment workflows for both web and mobile apps (App Store, Play Store, Vercel, etc.)
