Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and talented React Developer Intern to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about frontend development, has a solid foundational knowledge of React, and is eager to learn and contribute to real-world projects. You should have a good understanding of API integration, modern design concepts, and at least one college or personal project that showcases your React skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside senior developers, and make a tangible impact on our product.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include:

• Develop New Features: Build and implement new user-facing features using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Translate Designs to Code: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality, reusable code.
• Optimize Performance: Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across a range of devices.
• Data Validation: Assure that all user input is validated on the client-side before being submitted to the backend.
• API Integration: Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and manage asynchronous data flow.
• Troubleshoot & Debug: Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, such as responsiveness issues, and debug to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Iterate & Improve: Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback and analytics to continuously enhance the user interface.
• Maintain Standards: Adhere to established style standards on fonts, colors, and images to ensure brand consistency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR can demonstrate equivalent skills through a strong portfolio of self-driven projects.
• Solid understanding of React.js and its core principles (Components, Hooks, State, Props).
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with consuming RESTful APIs.
• A portfolio or GitHub repository with at least one college or personal project built using React.
• A keen eye for design and a fundamental understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Familiarity with version control, especially Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong desire to learn.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Zustand.
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools (e.g., Vite).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest or React Testing Library.
• Understanding of TypeScript.
• Experience with CSS-in-JS or CSS preprocessors like SASS/SCSS.
