Frontend Developer

About the Role

UI Developer with 2–5 years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive user interfaces using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Convert design mockups, wireframes, and prototypes into functional UI components.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend developers, and QA to implement pixel-perfect, cross-browser compatible UI.
• Optimize interfaces for performance, accessibility, and scalability.
• Integrate frontend code with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Ensure adherence to usability standards and accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and apply bug fixes in a timely manner.
• Document UI components, coding standards, and release notes as part of the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Tech Stack & Tools

Frontend Technologies

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• CSS Preprocessors: SASS / SCSS (preferred)
• Responsive Frameworks: Bootstrap / Tailwind CSS
• JavaScript Libraries: jQuery (basic) / modern frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js (preferred)

Integration

• RESTful API integration (Fetch API, Axios, or similar)
• Swagger / Postman (for API testing)

Testing & Debugging

• Browser Developer Tools (Chrome, Firefox)
• Basic knowledge of UI testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Jest (optional)

Dev Tools

• Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)
• Visual Studio Code / WebStorm
• Azure DevOps / Jenkins (exposure to CI/CD workflows is a plus)

Collaboration & Documentation

• ADO Server for task management
• MS SharePoint for documentation
• Figma / Adobe XD / Balsamic for working with design assets

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in UI/front-end development.
• Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Good eye for design detail, layout, typography, and UX consistency.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, minification, etc.).
• Working knowledge of Git and modern SDLC practices in Agile environments.

Nice to Have / Domain-Specific Skills

• Experience working in regulated domains such as pharma, healthcare, or BFSI.
• Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, and ALCOA+ principles.
• Exposure to component libraries or design systems (Material UI, PrimeNG, etc.).
• Familiarity with frontend error tracking tools (Sentry, Rollbar, etc.).
